Our engineers have taken one of the most versatile and unique microcontrollers on the market, and made it even better!

The TC-01 (also known as VITRAX or Vitrax-9, has been an industry workhourse for over a decade. The V-9 has been used in a wide range of applications, both civilian and military. Now, Telson Inc., exclusive distributor of TRAX microcontrollers, is pleased to announce PCMTRAX - a scaled-down version of the legendary Vitrax microcontroller, designed to be used in applications where data must be stored for later retrieval, such as for log keeping, or data / environment sampling applications.

A PCM/S-RAM card is integrated into the device, which will store data gathered from your application. This device was designed specifically for PASSIVE GPS VEHICLE TRACKING, in which the coordinate locations would be stored on the card at timed intervals. However, the device can be used in ANY application where long-term storage of collected data is required. The prototype card shown here, was received from our engineers on 6/24/97 The next step is the programmer, who will write the code needed to access the SRAM card. Specifications for the prototype device are posted here, and on our comparison list shortly - stay tuned.
